Samantha's Special Day!

We blessed Samantha yesterday. It was such a special day! We had a luncheon at our clubhouse and then blessed her at church. She looked so beautiful! My mother-in-law, Karon, had this dress made for her. Her friend and neighbor made it and it turned out so beautiful! The slip underneath her dress at the bottom has her initials on it. It was such a nice day, even though it rained all day. She was quiet and didn't cry at all during the blessing! Not bad considering she is almost 3 months old! Good thing she is still a peanut, so all the guys in the circle could hold her up!

Tyler says this could be her wedding dress! I fear that day will come all too soon!

Pictures really don't do this dress justice. It is so pretty in person! It has a pale pink ribbon laced at the top and around the bottom.

We were so excited for the 80 degree weather we had this week that we had to break out the summer clothes! It lasted for two days and as I am posting this it just finished snowing! Don't ya just love Utah!!! Anyway, doesn't she look so cute! I had to share!
And as usual, Nick wouldn't let us take a decent picture of him in his summer clothes!

Front row Joe!

My parent's gave us tickets to Wicked for Christmas. My mom is a miracle worker and got us front row seats right in the middle. Tyler tells everybody we were so close at any moment he could reach out and smack the conductor in the head! We went with my sister's Elisa and Meghan and my brother's Matt and Jeff. Thanks again mom and dad for such a great gift. We absolutely loved it!!!

Tyler and I loved it so much, he surprised me with tickets in San Francisco for our 5th Anniversary! We can't wait to go again!!!

We took a trip to St. George in March. We didn't go out much cause it was still a little cold. Here are a few pictures from that trip. The hightlight for Nick was enjoying Grandma Karon's yummy chocolate chip cookies!!

Samantha at her two week check up. This is her doctor, Dr. Berry. He is also our family doctor and he also delivered Samantha! He is our doctor for everything, and we are very lucky because we love him so much! He is awesome! He did such an amazing job bringing Samantha here. She gave us a little scare, the nurse came in to check on me and she was adjusting the fetal monitor and she couldn't find Samantha's heart beat. All of the sudden there were all these nurses flluttering around the room and I asked if everything was ok, no one would answer me. So if this ever happens to you and a nurse won't answer you everything is not ok! Anyway, I dilated from a 5 to a 9 in 45 minutes and my contractions were so strong they were putting Sami in fetal distress so they gave me a shot to stop my contractions. It gave me the shakes, everyone thought I was cold but it was the shot that made me shake! The shot worked and Sami's heartbeat came back nice and strong! Then it came time to push. Those of you who know me know I pushed 1-1/2 times with Nick and his head was out. The doctor wasn't even there! I had to wait ten minutes for him to show up! So I thought this was going to be quick. I pushed with Samantha for ten minutes and she was born. Not bad right!!! Well she came out with the cord wrapped so tight around her neck Dr. Berry couldn't even get his finger under it, he had to cut it off! We are so grateful for all the nurses and Dr. Berry who took such great care of us and helped Samantha get here safe!!

Nick's 3rd Birthday! We had a Kung-Fu Panda themed party with cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents only. We watched the movie, and just played around, we all had a good time.

We are excited to announce the arrival of Baby Samantha! She is so cute and sweet as can be. We love her so much! Nicholas has been such a good and loving older brother. He told me today, "fun with Baby Sam!". It was really cute. Although he has yet to give her a kiss, I know he loves his Baby Sami!
She was born January 30th at 2:10 am. 6 lbs. 13 oz. 19 inches

It's a ..... GIRL!!!!!!!!! We are so excited to announce we are having a baby girl! Tyler is one of four boys and on the Winn side there are three grandsons, no girls. Not anymore! What are we going to do? We know how to deal with boys, girls I hear are totally different! Any advice? Anyway, we are so happy and can't wait until she's here!

BYU chartered a plane for the Washington game. It picked them up at the provo airport. The game ended at about six and Ty was home by 9:00 that night. It was awesome!

Hey everybody. I am finally updating my blog. I should be cleaning and getting laundry done. But, I decided to do this instead. Sorry it has been so long. I just don't get this whole blogging thing and it's just not for me. Anyway, if you are on facebook and are one of Tyler's friends you have probably already seen these pictures. Also, for those of you who don't know I am pregnant! We find out on Tuesday, September 23rd what we are having! So that makes me 20 weeks! I am happy to announce the morning sickness has FINALLY passed! We ask Nick if he is having a brother or a sister, and almost everytime he says sister. We will see! Hope you enjoy the new pictures!
